Private Yoga as Stress Management Course

Price reflects total of all 4 sessions. I will meet with you once a week for four weeks. Each session lasts one hour. The format of this class will alternate between conversational lecture classes and yoga practices. We will dive into how you can use yoga to help manage stress levels. Session 1- Lecture. We will cover what yoga is, introduce the autonomic nervous system to get to know how our bodies are working, and cover different breathing techniques for different moods. We will also discuss not only how to lower stress levels, but how you could use stress to your benefit. Session 2- Yoga practice incorporating concepts from lecture. Session 3- Lecture. We will dive into sensations in the body vs. emotions in the body. We will discuss additional senses such as interoception, proprioception and our vestibular senses. We will then go into a guided meditation on sensations within the body. Session 4- Yoga practice integrating the course content into movement where we begin to feel more balanced and connected to our bodies. The course cost of $300 includes all 4 sessions. ($75/session) You have the option between meeting online via ZOOM or I'm now offering in person private sessions. For in person sessions, please call or email to schedule your sessions. For online sessions, I will send out a ZOOM link to the email address you used when booking this course. You may book any available time slot on the booking calendar.
